Join MUGIS Membership

There are three types of memberships available:

• Ordinary members
• Life members
• Allied members

Ordinary members are members who have full voting rights at the society’s annual general meetings. This membership is open to surgeons who are practicing locally in Malaysia with Malaysian Medical Council Registration. To be an ordinary member, a joining fee of RM100.00 is required and there is an annual subscription fee of RM100.00 per year.

Life members are members who have full voting rights at the society’s annual general meetings. This membership is open to surgeons who are practicing locally in Malaysia with Malaysian Medical Council Registration. To be an life member, a joining fee of RM100.00 is required and there is a one-time payment of RM1000.00 for lifetime subscription and no further annual subscription fee.

Allied members are members who have no voting rights at the society’s annual general meetings. This membership is open to doctors, allied health professionals [nurses, medical assistants, dieticians, pharmacists] who have interests in upper GI surgery and want to participate in the society’s activities. To be an allied member, a joining fee of RM100.00 is required and there is NO annual subscription fee.
